The Sap Bush Hollow Family: (Left to right) Jim and Adele Hayes, Saoirse Hooper, Bob Hooper and Shannon Hayes (so OK Ula needs to have her picture here...but then you would see how Jim and Adele have aged!!)

SAP BUSH HOLLOW FARM SEPTEMBER MEATING DAY - OPEN HOUSE - WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 8 & 9, 2010.

Our FIRST Open House for SEPTEMBER will be Wednesday & Thursday, September 8 & September 9, 2010, hours 4pm until 7pm. We will have great dessert and coffee to welcome your arrival. Anyone may attend.

This is the fifth fresh pastured chicken pick up for the 2010 season. (There will be one more at the very end of September). Please bring appropriate containers to transport them. They are FRESH and therefore need to be kept cold. We are not responsible for your chickens once they leave the farm.

The first fresh pork of the season has been harvested, so we will have fresh pork cuts finally available. Beef and a new fresh supply of lamb will be available plus all of our freshly made sausages.

A new product for us is our own Honey...produced by Bob and harvested this week. It is available in 1 pound jars. Nothing done to it...just fresh wonderful unprocessed honey for you.

PLEASE BRING A FRIEND!!!!!

We have HONEY, AND SOAPS MADE FROM OUR OWN ANIMAL FATS and THE GRASSFED GOURMET COOKBOOK & THE FARMER AND THE GRILL, plus Shannon's new book, RADICAL HOMEMAKERS, Reclaiming Domesticity From A Consumer Culture. Please visit, with a wonderful cup of Fair Trade Organic French Roast Coffee, and some delicious homemade desserts ...all on US!

If you need to have us respond quickly or feel it would be beneficial to speak with us, please do call 518-234-2105.
We have the most primitive email system, and thus do not spend our time sitting in front of the computer "waiting our lives away" while it does its thing. Thank you for understanding our life in this rural area of New York.
